In the heart of Bophut, within easy reach of Chaweng and the conveniences of daily life in Samui, an existing building is being reimagined as a collection of 24 suites and apartments.

Designed for long-stay guests who want both independence and a sense of community, the brief is to create a tropical interpretation of urban living: a place that feels relaxed and distinctly of Samui, while taking full advantage of its highly connected location.

The Human Project Studio has been engaged to develop the concept in its entirety and explore how far the opportunity can be taken. Our role extends beyond the physical design of the property into the development of the business itself — shaping the business model, positioning, brand, strategy, marketing materials and, once the concept is fully resolved, its digital presence.

The project forms part of a wider hospitality and real estate portfolio for the client, which we have also been invited to help consolidate into a more coherent and considered whole.
